When ignorance is not bliss?

My father regularly likes to watch the news. It gives him all the details about the various events happening in the world like the recent one with the Ukraine and Russia conflict.

With the potential of the third world war breaking out and now the inflation rising because of the war, the discussion has constantly been catching eyeballs on the idiot box.

Even though the atrocities and hardships are continuing for the people affected, you may agree that certain lethargy develops over time over any news.

My father now hears the headlines and moves to browse other channels rather than watch the full discussion.

Such ignorance or one might even say acceptance while the issue continues to linger on allows thoughts and feelings associated with that event to be out of the current mental field of a person.

Many of these past records are then stored, sometimes in the deep recesses of the subconscious mind. With new information like any breaking news or other triggers, the issues again come back to life in the conscious mental field.

What is required is then to work on things which come to the surface and at the same time not put things deliberately under the carpet.

Ignorance is not bliss till healing is incomplete.

The voices which want justice for the war crimes or women who are looking at equality at workplace or people who simply want to feel the pride in being their inner truth are all examples of issues which have surfaced for us as a society in the current times.

In sessions, a professional coach partners with an individual who explores their own conscious and subconscious choices in life. It allows the person to deal with an issue with focus and clarity.

Are you ready to move forward and heal?
