It is peak summer in north of India where I live. Heat waves are running across major parts of the country. I went on a recent trip to the hills where a similar impact of the tropical sun can be felt.
As river beds run dry, one can see patches of land where once the mighty river flowed effortlessly. Now meandering, it strives to push its way across the boulders.
I was observing the interaction between the flowing water and the stone obstacles which come in the way of the river.
Neither does the river stop nor does it ignore the obstacle.
Even during the peak of monsoon, the mighty river changes its course when a big stone comes in its way. At other times, the water continues to flow gently over the hard rock, and over time the stone turns to sand.
It reminded me to keep working at a certain problem and continue to put my best foot forward each day.
With consistency and smart work, the stubborn stone obstacles on one's path become inconsequential. The energy of the river either reduces the rocks to sand or finds its way through them with agility to reach its destination sea.
Coaching helps bring about the awareness to the nature of the problem and your unique approach which will allow you to achieve the goal.
