I woke up at 3 am by startling sounds of my daughter, who was waving her hands and babbling words about ‘Peppa Pig’, an animation TV series. My immediate reaction was to calm her by gently patting her back to sleep and give her the time to reconnect and complete her imagination.
All I could gather was that she was with her favorite characters in her dream world.
Often I find my dreams incomplete. Many a times I hope to prolong the dream and let it be complete in a certain way I wish. Alas, either I wake up or remember only a part of them.
I have innumerable powers as the creator of my own world and have the capabilities to do many things, sometimes even superhuman like flying and at other times I am able to meet friends that I am no longer see regularly in the real world.
Often I find myself in strange lands with boundless beauty which bring immense peace and sometimes there are those times of occasional nightmares that send my heart racing. Some of these become the times when I want to get up quickly to realize and find solace that it is just but a dream.
Dreams imitate reality and vice versa and I think I have these powers in the real world too. There are many parallels to draw in my own life as I think about my dream landscape.
Life itself is also a dream, where we come for a limited time. If one lives life like a dream, it becomes akin to watching a movie with you as the main character and all things revolving around you.
It is important is to work on what is waiting to happen rather than get too fixated with the character itself.
What if there is struggle? If you don’t like the way the dream life is going on, remind yourself to wake up, take charge and change the dream. How would you want to enact the part you have been given to the best of your ability?
As you show love to the people who really matter and create the world to your liking you will live a beautiful dream. After all, you wake up each day with limitless powers to chase the dreams of your liking.
